MH3

The weather was turning and we were warned about flash floods on MH3 but decided to give it a go whilst the going was good! We met up with some serious polish guys at the start of MH3 – they were all geared up and looked like they meant business –  we soon had to part company as despite us riding on our fully load machines and them with unloaded bikes (they had a 4×4 as back up) they were riding at a pace that well-  just wasnt fun!! Lightweights!

Polish guys

Mat” Good to see the famous gorges without rain! Not for long though…We met this bunch of rather tough riders from Poland in the bar discussing whether it as a good idea or not to engage ourselves into this famous track. We did well by doing, and we soon overtook them. they were feeling hard done because they had to wait for the less experienced of them…”

Mat

You don’t want to mess with this man!

Lake Tislet

Auberge

Looks rather basic – but would recommend this Auberge next to the Lake Tislet.

Mat” We stayed in this remote castle by the lake run by an energic old woman who was teaching the sheppards to read. Congratulation to her and to the bunch of italians riding old Doms delivering goods to the mountain locals.”
